Chabernet

Another Glass of Chabernet

About

When my wife and I were first dating, we flew First Class to attend a fancy occasion. She was feeling quite sophisticated sitting in the pointed end of the plane on her way to Europe. The flight attendant asked for her wine selection of Chardonnay or Cabernet, and my wife chose the Cab. When her glass was empty, she asked the attendant for another glass of Chabernet. Years later, I dedicate this website to my lovely wife and the memory of our unsophisticated introduction to the world of wine and food.

I wanted to make a brief statement about something simple and solely purposed. My statement should be both elegant and powerful, I thought. And so I set out to find an example of that which I long to emulate that so seldom can now be found.

Here on these few pages, dear friends, are my thoughts about all that and no less or more.

If, in browsing this humble abode of the electrically delivered word, you stumble across some profound wisdom or illumination, I take no credit for the discovery. All here is of darkness and myth, for of such things are born the wildest imaginings.
